Will it cost me to call a tenerife number while in tenerife

The call should be included in your UK plan allowances @Iandunsmore. 
If for some bizarre reason it’s not, roaming charges in The Canary Islands are:

While in Spain and connected to a Spanish network you’ll be able to call another number in Spain free of charge.

That should also be included in your iD plan allowances, because of the EU + EEA inclusive roaming feature.
