calling or messaging only works with wifi or 4G enabled?

We have noticed today that when out of 4G signal or WiFi. And despite having plenty of bars of signal we can't recieve texts or calls. Anyone able to help? I have tried network reset and turning phone on/off. Removing sim etc

You might be in areas where Three UK (iD Mobile’s network partner) have turned OFF the 3G mobile network infrastructure.

No it works fine in another phone

Sounds like a fault with the handset in that case.

Have you tried a non-iD SIM?

As @andewhite suggests if the SIM works in another phone just fine this would sound like a device issue.

 

What device are you having issues with?

 

Have you tried a factory reset on it?
