My sons contract has run out but ID mobile won't let me upgrade to new phone

What have they said the reason is?

They don't know, possibly 2 contracts, possibly a payment issue

So you already have two contracts with iD Mobile? They usually won’t allow a third contract. If you have two already, are you actually upgrading or are you trying to buy a whole new contract? If the later, try upgrading an existing account.

Upgrades are done via the app/account

When you log into the account for the number you want to upgrade

Then click My Account > Upgrade

What happens?
