changeover frok current cobtract to sim only

Hi. You have emailed me to advise I am out of contract as of the 9th dec. if I select the Black Friday sim only offer of 24 months unlimited and check out, will I just switch over to this on the 9th without the physical need to actually change the sim? (And will my number remain with me?)

Okay @Ian Dray, you’ll only keep your number if you upgrade by choosing one of the options shown when your are signed-in to your iD account online, or the iD app.

You can also discuss your upgrade options with the iD telephone sales team, on 020 7139 1397, during normal office hours.

Ensure you’re purchasing an upgrade and not a new contract and you’ll keep on the same account, same number, new tariff.
