Declined contract application via Carphone warehouae

Hi I have tried to order a contract with Pixel 7a through Carphone Warehouse and had an issue with my address not being on the system of Equifax, which was resolved. However, my application was still declined by ID mobile. Please can I see an explanation as to why and understand if there is a way to challenge this or request a manual check. It is incredibly frustrating, ridiculous and very confusing.

Unfortunately the result of a credit check cannot be contested and would be final, if the system was unsure about the details it would have asked for further clarification and eligible for a manual referral, I’d recommend speaking to Carphone Warehouse about the credit check result itself and if it had a manual referral option.
