I accidentally cancelled my direct debit thinking it was an old one, my payment then failed to go through and I didn’t realise, I’ve then paid it as soon as I got a text to say my services had been suspended. I then paid this immediately, will this go as a mark on my credit file? The communication from ID around this is very poor, the text was the first notification I received to say the payment had failed.

Perhaps iD Mobile were just as surprised when the direct debit was cancelled without any warning.
It might be an idea to setup a new direct debit, before another payment is missed
