I order my new sim and now I’m getting billed before I’ve received the new sim

Yeah, unfortunately that’s how iD operate @Mattb1275
iD Mobile start charging from the date your SIM card is dispatched, as SIM cards for new connections are shipped already activated. 

The date of dispatch is usually the same date as the order complete email from iD. 

Elsewhere on their website it says allow 3-5 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch @Mattb1275. iD use Royal Mail (without tracking) from SIM only orders.

As @andewhite advised, billing starts from when the order is dispatched.

If you require a SIM urgently you can visit your local Curry’s store to obtain a replacement SIM and we can activate it via PM, Online Chat or Social Media.
