How can I setup my tablet to use data?

Hello, 

I have just bought a tablet and I’m hoping to link it in with my ID account so I can use the data when I go away from home. I can’t see anywhere on the website as to how I can do this; can anyone give me some advice please? I have a monthly payment plan.

Hello @J0T,

We don’t offer data sharing on our network via multiple SIM cards.

You have 2 options:

  • You can use the SIM in the tablet if the tablet supports it, although this isn’t guaranteed to work
  • You can use Mobile Hotspot which you will setup via the device to make a faux WiFi connection that your tablet can connect to. This will use your handsets data but give data to the tablet
