I receive someone else’s monthly bills (and private details): in an email which greets me with “Hi Jeremy” (my correct first name) I get a bill to “Chantal ….” which is not me, and which surely contravene Data Protection laws. I have tried to get this corrected but the “Live Chat” button is not live at all, it is a bot which has proved incapable of answering the question. I have now exhausted all attempts to speak or contact someone at iD.
I don’t want to resort to complaining to the authority about iD’s apparent GDPR infringement, but if I can’t communicate sensibly with iD what else can I do?
