I have mistakenly requested to switch my mobile number (keep my old one) but I want to keep my new one

Hello is there a way to cancel the request to keep my old mobile number? According to ID I have until 08/01/2024 until the number changes. I would want to keep my new number as that is the one I am currently using.

I tried to get a STAC code from my old number to keep my new number? Not sure if that is how it works but it failed anyway.

This forum doesn’t work for anything time critical. Best discuss this issue with iD Mobile using their online Live Chat, @Han Zhang. 

The agents work until 8pm on weekdays (6pm at weekends).
