I have just moved to the UK from Ireland. I am looking to set up a uk number and pay as you go monthly phone. Is this possible with no previous Uk number? I’m unsure how to go about this.

All of the UK mobile service providers will give you a UK mobile number when you buy a pay monthly or PAYG SIM card.
Thank you for your reply ! I’m finding difficulty with this as when I go to purchase it won’t let me without having a current uk number. When I go to purchase with my card as it’s Irish and not connected to the current uk address, it won’t let me!

When asked for the contact number, you can just put 0777777777 as it should let you past
It’s only a number we use for contact and you can later update this to your own UK number once you have this.
