i want to transfer my number. ive soent 2 hours trying. your backwards service will not let me!!!!!

I need to transfer my old number.

My old account was with you.

I bought a new phone and contract with you, via carphone warehouse

I cancelled my existing ID account.

I got a PAC.

Your website would not accept my PAC transfer, unable to process.

​​​​​​I've then had to make a new ID account for a phone number I have no intention of keeping.

Now you're stupid system says I can't transfer a number from an account with ID.

FINE!

WHY NOT LET ME KNOW THAT AT THE START?!?

BEFORE I SPENT 2 HOURS FAFFING AROUND WITH YOUR INCOMPETANT ONLINE SERVICES.

WHY NOT OFFER ADVICE ON HOW TO DO IT THEN? 

I've yet to know incompetence like it!!

I now understand I can't do what I want to do, and have ordered a payg sim from another company.

Maybe put the message around that you can't switch ID to ID (same for other companies) somewhere in the switching information?!?! Rather than having to trawl the internet for hours.

Now, I can't delete this post? How hard is it to have a deleted question option?!?
