id sim wont work in nokia 105 (4th edition)

Hi

I’ve bought a Nokia 105 for my son to use. It is a 4th edition and according to the seller (Amazon) it is a 3G phone. 
 

When I put the ID sim in it it says ‘emergency calls only’ and also won’t send texts etc 

 

When I put an EE sim in it worked fine so I know the phone is ok. And when I put it the ID sim in my iPhone it worked fine so I know the sim is ok 

I was led to believe the ID sim would be fine in any 3G phone. Can anyone confirm this?

Three UK (iD’s network partner) are in the process of turning OFF their 3G network, which will be completed by end of 2024.

Are you in an area where this has happened already @Colinc7?

Is the Nokia 105 on the iD Mobile approved handset list?
