Identity theft

I am trying to assist a vulnerable individual who has been the victim of identity theft. They have never been a customer of ID mobile, have never received any services from ID mobile and have never made a payment to ID mobile. They have now received a letter in their name at their address demanding payment of an outstanding bill. I can find no method of contacting ID mobile without information about an account which this individual has no knowledge of.

Any help would be welcome.

Sorry to hear someone’s details have been used fraudulently.

The messaging in this forum isn’t real-time, but if you’re happy to wait several days for iD Mobile to read your post, hang on here.

Otherwise, it’d be quicker to contact iD Mobile privately via facebook (Messenger) or Twitter (by direct message).

It’s best to contact iD between 9am - 8pm weekdays, and 9am - 6pm weekends - you’ll speak to a real person.

You’ll also need a reference number from Action Fraud online, when you’re speaking to iD Mobile.

Anyway, good luck.
