if i upgrade today will the april charges affect me

Hi I am wanting to upgrade to Google 7 pro was about to do it then in the small print it said about price increase in April. So if I upgraded to night will the price I am signing up to go up in 2 weeks? Or will it not affect me as a new contract? Or do I wait till April to upgrade? Confused 🤔

Also it's coming up I can order it but not available till 20th April. Does that mean they are not in stock as the phone has been out since October 22.

The RPI increase will apply if you've upgraded or purchased a new iD Mobile 24-month handset plan on or after 1st May 2021 and before 1st February 2023.

Please check the contract for any information regarding future RPI increases.

We don’t currently have stock for the handset but we should have further stock for delivery on 20th April.
