Question

IVA, Debt & Unaffordable bill

Hi

I have entered an IVA due to debt and looking at my payments my phone bill is becoming unaffordable. I was wondering if there is any way to cheapen it such as lowering my allowances which I do not use, or cancelling.

I see in your documentation entering an IVA means that you cannot pursue the debt, but I do not think my phone bill was added as it wasnt a debt at the time, as I was not in arrears

You cannot lower your plan during any minimum term. So, you’re stuck with whatever you agreed to upon signing up.

Regarding your IVA, you should be asking whoever is dealing with that.

Hi @hawthornflk

I’d recommend the same as @WelshPaul above.

We unfortunately don’t offer a drop in allowances/price while you’re still in your contracted period, if you’re out of your contracted period you may be able to upgrade to a SIM only plan to reduce costs.
