Question

my monthly bill increased by £1.79 with out a notice.

Can you explain why bill increased from last two months with out any prior notice.

I took this contract in Sep2021 that is not even a year length.

I would like to Cancel the contract as increased price is not agreed.

I need some one to explain on how to proceed?

I suggest you check-out the “Does the 2022 RPI increase apply to me?” section of the iD website page, about contracts with a Retail Price Index clause.

Although it’s possible iD Mobile have made a mistake.

To find out, use Live Chat to speak to an iD customer service agent - type “talk to a person” after connecting and get help from a real person.

The iD agents work 9am - 8pm weekdays and 9am - 6pm weekends.

You agreed! I suggest you read the terms and conditions of a contract prior to signing one in the future.

It shouldn’t be a big surprise - finding an annual RPI increase somewhere in the terms & conditions.

A majority of the UK’s mobile network providers have been doing this for a long time.

Hi @Ramesh Mandanapu, RPI increases are mentioned when browsing deals, on the product page, during the checkout process, and in the Terms & Conditions that you agreed to when ticking the box.

Thank you,
