Still waiting on phone number to switch and can’t send texts

Okay @Debra2604, there is usually a delay between your old provider’s SIM becoming inactive (not working), and the number you’re keeping being available on your iD SIM.

When I switched to iD I could not use the number I wanted to keep for ~5 hours, while iD completed the number port.
