I’m thinking of joining ID mobile, but I have a few questions

  • If use the switch service, do I keep my original sim card?
  • How difficult is it to contact an actual customer service agent?  When I try to use the chat facility, it just keeps telling me there is nobody available, and the virtual assistant is useless.
  • If you are an ID customer, do you still have to pay 7p per minute to call the customer service number?
  • How would you rate the customer service agents on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best?

When you join iD Mobile you will get a new SIM card from iD. You’ll keep this SIM card even after you port your number to iD.

iD Mobile are 100% online for help & support.
Support hours are 9am - 8pm weekdays, and 9am - 6pm weekends.

There’s NO telephone support at iD Mobile.

iD are great when everything works but are often awful when things need to be changed or rectified.
