I gave ID Mobile my PAC code to transfer my old number (had this number for 20 years and its my work number). Today the my old SIM stopped working, so the transfer happened, BUT my old number has gone to someone else!!
I’ve tried LIVE chat with no luck (it said live chat was available until 8pm, yet after logging on to it at 7.30pm it said no one was available at 7.48pm) and there doesn’t seem to be any emergency number to speak to someone at ID Mobile. Such a huge data breach… if this other person uses my number as a verification method!
On top of this, this is my work number and I’m going to lose a day of clients and business… as well as the trust of my clients if they call my old number but get through to the other person!!!
Can someone at ID Mobile sort this out now please, this evening, not in 24 hours etc. I’m at a complete loss as to how this can even happen!
