My pin is [REDACTED] and I joined I’d Mobile from another company.
i supplied my PAC code to keep my old number but when I phone people a new number appears.
my id mobile account shows my old number which is correct.
previous what’s app groups I was in are no longer able to send messages to them also

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET,
Your handset user guide should explain how to do this.

I have just done this and have found out that if I phone or text someone my old number is used, however if I use what’s app it shows as the new mobile number?

It sounds like you may have logged into/registered to WhatsApp with the number we gave, you may need to log out and log in with the desired number.
