I recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung Fold 3 to the new Fold 5, at the same time I also switched my sim only contract from EE to ID Mobile, I always purchase my phones outright from Samsung.
The issue I have is that sound quality on incoming calls is hopeless, on outgoing calls I get HD quality and it sounds great, but on incoming calls it sounds like I’m talking on an old Nokia from 2003, this is even when I’m in an area with 5G and have full signal. My current work around is to call people back but when it’s a customer I’m talking to this is embarrassing and it makes me look unprofessional.
The phone isn’t the issue as I briefly used it for about a month with my old EE sim and had no problems at all, the poor call quality only started once I’d ported my number over to ID.
