Ported number - old Sim disabled but number hasn't activated on new sim yet

Port date today - old sim (Smarty) has disconnected, but the number is not yet transferred to iD.

 

Tried rebooting a few  times - doesn’t it usually happen straight away?

No! You need to be patient and wait as it can take up until 10pm to complete.

Not great - I’ve ported between other networks before and the switch  has been only a few minutes between old Sim going off and number going live.

Now Im left without my inbound number until 10pm….

You were right @WelshPaul - went live at 14:11 this afternoon - still surpised it was such a long gap between the old one going off but all good now

Like I said, it’s normal. Porting a number is not an instant process and can take several hours to complete. This is how it is across all networks.
