Recovering number after using Stac instead of Pac

I accidentally used a Stac code when switching networks instead of a Pac and subsequently lost my number. I've seen a similar post from a couple of years ago where it looks like the user got her number recovered. Can this still be done? I swapped networks only a couple of days ago.
