Good evening, I have checked and am familiar with the cost for actually using my phone for calls / texts in Thailand, and aware that it is free to receive texts, but I would like to know:

Do I get charged if my phone rings and I don’t answer?
Do I get charged if a voicemail comes in whilst the phone is off and I don’t listen to it later?

I am thinking “yes” but would like to be sure to decide whether to turn voicemail off and or only leave my phone on airplane mode. Thanks for your help.

Why not google “ID Mobile roaming costs”?

I did that’s why I asked the specific questions I did. Thanks for not helping at all anyway. If you can’t help then please scroll on by.

If the phone rings and you don’t answer, there’s no charge as the call was not connected.

In your second scenario, if you make sure voicemail is turned OFF in your iD account online before roaming you’d avoid the possibility of any voicemail charges.

You can easily stop roaming charges by setting your bill cap down to £0.
