I am going on holiday to Ayia Napa (Cyprus) and was wondering if I can roam free abroad. I have seen one help article say that you can roam free in all of Cyprus, and another forum that said only in south Cyprus. Ayia Napa is around south east, so I am unsure on this.

I think you’ll find only the southern part of Cyprus is included for roaming using your UK plan allowances.
Northern Cyprus is effectively controlled by Turkey, which is outside the 50 EU inclusive roaming destinations.
The iD roaming partners in Cyprus (Southern) are: Cyprus Areeba and Cyprus PrimeTel.
