roaming in Italy

Data roaming in Italy seems to have stopped today. It's been fine.

Any one got any explanation please? Need it to pay for things on my phone!

Hi leaving britain shortly for Italy. If I turn off roaming on the ID app will I be charged roaming fees. Also is there a plan I can buy for data roaming in Italy please.

Hi,

If you turn roaming OFF, it won’t work abroad.  This can can help avoid being charged when outside of inclusive countries, but Italy is all good.  Been there, done that.  Just don’t drive through Switzerland to get there! 😉

If you turn roaming off, you won’t be able to roam.

 

To avoid unwanted charges, we’d recommend using and setting a bill cap.
