Put my new sim in my new iPhone 14 purchased direct through apple and says no service?

Does your new iD SIM card work another phone @Jenny Stanley

No I’ve tried it in my old iPhone and then the new one 

I’ve done all the things it says online like flight mode etc. it’s a brand new sim not an upgrade or anything

Okay @Jenny Stanley, if the new iD SIM card doesn’t work in your old iPhone, nor in your new iPhone 14, then unfortunately you’ve probably got a faulty SIM card.

You can get a replacement SIM card directly from iD - use the iD Mobile online chat service at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat to ask for your replacement SIM.

Type “talk to a person” when using chat, so you get an iD agent - not the 24/7 chat bot.

Otherwise, get a replacement immediately from any Currys or Carphone Warehouse store but, they’ll charge £5 for this option.

Okay, you can also request one through the iD Mobile social media customer support team.

Get in-touch using facebook (via Messenger), or Twitter (by DM).

@andewhite hey! So I got a new sim through today and it’s still not working! I’m absolutely baffled. A brand new phone from apple so not locked. I’ve checked the coverage checker and my area is fine. I’ve messaged them again on twitter but starting to thing it’s just not meant to be!

Okay @Jenny Stanley, now you’ve received your REPLACEMENT iD Mobile SIM card, it will need to be activated before you can use it. 

If you have a My iD Account online ( https://my.idmobile.co.uk ), you can activate your replacement iD SIM card from there.

The processes are explained in the “Activating your new SIM card” FAQ article.
