I've just upgraded to a pay as you go sim card only, however this was delivered to the wrong address and they have denied receiving it. I don't need the sim card, as I can still use my current one for my upgrade. Does anyone know if this stolen sim could be used and activated by this person. Can I get it stopped so that they can't use it?

Use the live chat service to report the SIM has been lost.

iD will disable your lost SIM, and this will prevent it from being used.

Good luck @lijaye.

Hello @lijaye,

This isn’t entirely correct, as reporting a SIM Card as lost will suspend services.

You can still do this and request a replacement SIM Card though.

That said, it’s not possible to activate a SIM Card from just the SIM card serial number.

You would need to log into the account first and then activate it.

The SIM serial number for a blank SIM is not tied directly to your account.

It’s only recorded on your name for the order that’s all.

Thanks for the help, I used chat and they explained that they can't activate the sim.
