Me and my daughter going to newyork for 4 nights in 2 weeks we both have contracts with ID is there anything I can do so I can use my phone internet ect without it costing a fortune?  
last time I went my bill was £78 in 3 days just from using the internet

Turn off your mobile data and only use Wi-Fi networks.

Hey @Becki Hayes, as @andewhite says, using your phone in the US will rack up a pretty large bill. Not much you can do about that other than disabling data roaming and not making calls/texts. Stick to Wi-Fi and use WhatsApp for calls.
