Unable to activate Imessage or Facetime - on three separate contracts & phones.

3 New contract with ID mobile with a ported numbers from Vodafone. 

After getting my number ported over to ID, i inserted the sim into my new Iphone and have not yet been able to use Imessage or Facetime on my number. It just keeps flagging the error ‘unable to activate Imessage’ and ‘unable to verify number’.  

Things tried:

  • Toggle imessage on/off
  • Reset Network settings 
  • Reset Apple ID 
  • Log in with a different Apple ID
  • Take Sim out for 10 minutes and reboot
  • Factory reset of phone 
  • Re-set phone number in ‘Phone’ 
  • Spoke to Apple, went through all of the above and did a network check, they insist the issue is with ID Mobile in their SIM configuration.

 

Having this same issue on 3 separate devices, with 3 separate contracts all of which ported a mobile from Vodafone to ID Mobile.

Have also tried using an old phone to see if it was an issue with the Iphone 13, but when inserting the Sim in the phone it also fails to verify on that phone. Confirming the issue is with the SIMS / ID Mobile and not Apple.
