unable to port to iD

Hello,

I am trying to port my wife’s number from 3 but the site is saying that the information given is incorrect. I’ve checked everything ( including capitals/ lower case on the name) but cannot find an error. Live chat is always busy.

Any suggestions please..

Was the PAC submitted to iD at the point-of-purchase @Tedscamper

A PAC can only be used once, which might explain the issue that’s occurring here.

No I’ve only just requested the PAC from 3 today,

You can also talk privately to iD customer service using Facebook Messenger, or Twitter (X) DM. 

The agents work until 8pm on weekdays.

Does the transaction number you’re using begin with a “4”?

Hi can't use my old number. Transfer happened today and PAC given at checkout.  Just trued setting up whatsapp and the new mobile no isn't working as can't receive verification.  Nobody can contact me.

Yes the transaction did begin with a 4.

I was just about to try Facebook messenger this morning when a txt from iD arrived saying the transfer would be completed today. The old number from 3 is disconnected but the number hasn't appeared on iD yet! ... Fingers crossed!!

It's all working now!...Give it time Alex.

I think that in hindsight I might have pressed the submit button twice as the screen timed out
and the error message came about as the PAC number was used twice. duh!
