Upgrade to Monthly sim only but keep number?

I am at the end of my contract and have received an email offering me upgrade options.  When I go to the web site and look at my upgrade options, I want to choose one of the Monthly SIM only deals and it tells me it will “tell me how to keep my number at checkout”.  However there it tells me to use a PAC code.   Other articles I have read on here say that you cannot do an internal PAC, please confirm.  The Web page is VERY misleading in this area.  Can it be done - If it cannot why does the upgrade pages offer me this option and tell me I CAN keep my number?

If you are signed-in to your My iD Account (online or via the iD app) when you upgrade, you will keep your number @edwar368.

A PAC can only be used to move/switch a mobile number from one service provider to another.

Hey @edwar368, as @andewhite mentioned as long as you are signed in and follow the steps: My Account then Upgrade you will do an upgrade.

No PAC is needed.

No Credit check is required either for upgrades
