Why am i bring charged and extra month for cancelling during the cooling off period

I want to leave a one month contract during the cooling off period because the signal is terrible and there is no access to customer services directly either on live chat or on the phone.

 

When I try to do this online or on the app I am told I have to pay for next month's bill. Surely this isn't right. 

 

Can I get a phone number to speak to someone.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile don’t have a telephone support helpline @johnnyhillen

As you’ve discovered, the iD app and your “My iD Account” online don’t have an option for returning an order in the cooling off period.

In this situation the following forum article might help.

In addition, iD charge line rental from the date the activated iD SIM card is dispatched, even if the SIM card is not used.

As mentioned above by @andewhite we don’t have a phone number for support, I’d recommend the above linked article above and stating you’d like to make a return, not a cancellation.
