wrong number showing on text messages

I have successfully ported in my old number to my ID mobile sim but recently it has stated to show my temporary ID mobile number when I send a text to anyone.

It is also an android phone.

Why is this?

If you started using the Google Messages app (with chat features turned ON), after you joined iD with the number you didn’t want to keep, this might explain the issue.

Hi Rory,  I'm experiencing the same issue but only a few numbers I text to show the temporary number all others seem to have my correct number.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Try turning OFF the “Chat features” in the Messaging app - good luck @Dottie

@andewhite I've tried to do thus and put in the correct codes but it's unable to do and I've to contact the operator.

It still had my temporary number showing and not my ported one.

I've tried to change it by verifying but it won't verify?
