How do I delay my contract start due to faulty SIM?

Hi there,

Just joined ID but the first sim card sent was completely broken so have had to order a replacement. How do I go about making sure my £43.99 monthly charge does not start until my new sim has arrived as I do not actually have access to my data etc without an ID sim.

You’re billed from the point of original dispatch. If you want a replacement SIM today, pop into a local Curry’s store and you can pick one up for free there and then.

Have you contacted us and reported this to us?

We can’t delay the contract start as it’s connected on dispatch but we can apply a credit from the point of you contacting to report this until the new SIM arrives which should cover the period.
