3 days ago I added data, 2 days ago I received a message saying I am out of planned data and will be charged.

I’m sorry to hear that, do you have the iD Mobile app? I’d always recommend using that to keep on top of your allowances and data usage.
It’s possible the data the text is referring to is your regular monthly allowance, which wouldn’t include a bundle and would be used up before dipping into any bundle add ons.
Alternatively you’ll be able to call “7777” from any iD Mobile SIM to check the allowances on it!

I purchased additional data of 6g on holiday. I have had a text now home to say my data is used. App shows 6g data left but have had an additional charge of £1.10? Why is this please?

If you have used your fair usage amount the add-on won’t work.
Can you advise which country you are in?

It sounds like you received the notification due to running out of your data allowance.
As you have an add-on data should be used from that after your inclusive data finishes.
Do you know what the charge is showing for?
