I wish to cancel my monthly contract however i wish to change to a pay as you go SIM with the same number. 

How do i do this?

Unfortunately @Jane Bowater, iD Mobile don’t provide a way of doing this - closing your pay monthly account and opening a PAYG account, with the same mobile number. 

To keep your number, you’d need to get a PAC from iD and move to another service provider, then switch back to an iD PAYG account.

IMO, you should just switch to another PAYG service provider - what makes you want to use iD PAYG?

Unfortunately as @andewhite suggests we wouldn’t be able to move a Pay Monthly iD Mobile number to a Pay As You Go iD Mobile number, sorry.
