I'm on holiday my daughter called i cut her off but i have neen charged £2.40!

Answering an incoming call while roaming would be charged on a per minute basis - £2.40 seems like the per minute rate for some iD Mobile roaming destinations @Shells Bells. 

To avoid roaming charges, set your iD account bill cap to £0, or don’t answer any incoming calls.

Where is it you are roaming?

 

As @andewhite suggests you would be charged for calls per minute while in certain destinations.
