It sounds like you purchased a new contract and joining us for the first time, is this correct?
When you purchased you submitted a request to keep your number via a PAC code.
What date did you select for this?

Then you have not received a replacement SIM, you have a new *pay go sim with a new number, new account etc.
*As you posted in the pay go section of the community, I assume it’s a pay go SIM.
