Not receiving UK texts in India and UK calls cant be connected.

Hi,

One of the previous topics is closed with no resolution.

I am facing issues while in India. Am able to recieve OTP, but calls cannot be connected even if using +44 prefix.

I need the standard incoming calls to work. What is the problem here?

Text messages are free to receive no matter where you’re roaming, @varadhya.

However, incoming calls are chargeable (while roaming outside the EU inclusive destinations).

If your iD account bill cap is too low for the destination’s incoming call charges, they won’t work.
