roaming charges

i keep fetting texts about roaming charges while i am abroad...i do not use mobile data,i have a local do i contact a human about this,as i am out the country for at least 6 months

Okay @Derek Rigby, iD Mobile are obligated to send these messages about roaming rates, by the UK telecommunications regulator OFCOM. 

You can discuss the issue with iD customer care, using the online iD Live Chat - otherwise, send iD a private message via their social media pages, using Facebook Messenger or X (formerly Twitter).

My best recommendation to avoid unwanted charges would be to utilize a bill cap, this can be done in the iD Mobile app.
