Shetland Islands Coverage

Recently on the Shetland Islands, at Esha Ness a little north of Brae, I got a message on my phone saying that it appeared I was roaming outside the EU.  South of Brae all seemed fine with the network.

I am UK resident and according to the website EU roaming is included so does anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks

Hey @Alan Pearman

I’m just checking the bordering countries and looks like the Faroe Islands is very close so it’s possible your device connected to a network that was strong enough hence the message.

I’d recommend turning OFF automatic network selection and only connecting to inclusive networks.

You can also set your spend cap to £0.00.
