Hi - I am going to Peru later this year and would like to find out about roaming charges if I want to make a call, send a Whatsapp message or a text.  Is it likely to be very expensive?

Hey @AHutton54 It’s not inclusive of roaming so may well be worth getting a local or eSIM when abroad.

Just be sure to cap your plan at £0.00 and configure the eSIM correctly.

Hi Mohammed - many thanks for taking the trouble to reply. I'd been thinking about a local SIM. Thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions. 

Looks like roaming in PERU using iD Mobile is expensive… might be worth looking at using an eSIM instead, if your handset supports these @AHutton54.
