Help with upgrade/new contract

I tried upgrading but ended up with a new contract and phone number. Please can somebody sort this out for me. I've been into carphone warehouse and spoken to customer services they can't help, I have to use the live chat apparently which is never working.

Didn't realise I could upgrade within the app because it breaks every time I use it or log in. Ordered a new SIM but want to cancel it now.

Samsung A70 and iPhone issues

I have just switched over to ID mobile as my daughter has been with them for some time. I have a Galaxy A70 and when I insert the sim card I can text and use the internet on 4G but I can’t call or receive calls. I put the sim in my iPhone 6 plus but I cant send or receive texts however I can make calls. What on earth is going on?????   Any help gratefully received.

No network for last 24 hours

I have had no network forfor last 24 hours. Tried to contact customer service but that doesnt seem possible.  Who can i contact toto get this rectified. Have tried switching phone onand off.

contract to sim only

I'm due an upgrade now, and I was surprised to see id only offering 2 year deals now! 😱 Way too long for me. I'd like to move to a sim only 30 day rolling Sim but keep my number. Is this possible, or do I go to a new provider? If it's possible, how do I go about it please?

Loss of service

My wife and I have both ID contracts. Currently we cannot log onto the service which doesn’t even appear as a choice of network on either of our phones. Mine is a new Alcatel 3L 2020 running android 10 and my wifes is an Alcatel one running android 8.1..I since checked on the ID coverage map it claims the cover at our postcode is excellent. Im 4G my wifes is 3G so if this is excellent service I would not like to see what a terrible service is like

upgraded sim not activating

just upgraded my tariff and for some reason got sent a new sim card followed all the instructions to activate it but still nothing after a day and a half 😡 not very happy, ive been with ID now for quite a few years never had a problem with it up until now

Trying to leave

I have received the sim card but am now trying to cancel via the myID website seeing as i can now register. But i get the following error message when trying to end mobile plan.  “Invalid Request, Validating the request has been failed with CMP6 details” Please advise i feel like this is impossible with not being able to call a customer services line. Most other providers appear to be ok handling queries.  I will not be happy if i am now debited for this. This is just to cancel a sim only plan within the cool off period. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Cannot pass credit check to buy second phone

I ordered one phone a couple of weeks ago, now tried to order another one and got declined. surely this is a problem at the ID end - why would you pass me the first time and not the second?

Upgrade

Upgrade before contract end   Hi.  I would like to upgrade early but my contract does not finish until November.  If I take a new contract with a new phone supplier can I keep my current number?    Alternatively can I pay the remaining months on my contract and then upgrade?

PAC Code Problem

Hi I have filled in the pac code form to transfer my number to ID but it has not worked and i have got a message saying i need to contact you. However the live chat is down and there is no phone number Please can you get in touch .

Is the network down

hi , my mobile data isn't working.   I've rebooted, turned data on and off and checked my bill and allowances but cant see anything wrong.   Is this a network issue?

No delivery and cancellation not possible, what to do????

Hi everyone, Decided to share my situation here to see if any other members ever had something similar and also to see if anyone from ID complaints team actually does anything because up until now the support has been a joke. 18 days ago (11th July) I did an upgrade online, including new phone and new monthly plan. Delivery was scheduled for 2 days later, because upgrade was done on a Saturday. Received an email confirming delivery for the 13th (dpd)… excitement, new phone arriving!!!  13th passed and nothing. Checked the online track provided by dpd and it mentioned that parcel was already at my local depot. Decided to wait 1 more day because in current situation we know things might take a little longer.  On the 14th, nothing. Online tracker still mentioned that parcel was at the local depot. At this point I used the online chat with dpd to see what was going on. They said that because it had been more than 24h since the parcel was last scanned an investigation had to be opened b

transferring number

I joined yesterday, on 10 gb for 8 pounds contract. Coverage was not so good. Cancelled, asked for PAC and was given the same as I joined with. Got message saying that this sim card can be used as pay as you go. Decided to give it a go. Bought a bundle. Tried to transfer old number from Vodafone using the PAC given. Got message that something was wrong and need to contact customer service. Spent 1,5 hours on webchat with adviser just ignoringme for 45 minutes. Now need to make sure that I only have pay as you go. Need old Vodafone number urgently.

cancellation didnt happen and been paying for a year without usingg the sim!!

Please can you help, I asked to cancel a sim over the phone soon after receiving it as Turned out my daughters phone was only compatible with another network .   however I’ve only just noticed the extra ID mobile direct debit has continued for months on end despite no usage ever on that sim!   please could you help with a refund.

Sharing Data

Is it still  NOT possible to share data with another family member on id?  I’ve seen threads from 2 years ago where it wasn’t possible,  yet EE and others have willingly done this with no hassle.  becoming a strong point in their favour if ID still lag behind the field in this simple ‘family friendly’ function??

Cancelling Sim

For the last 2 months I have been trying to cancel my daughter SIM card. It says on her account cancellation pending. It still hasn’t been cancelled and I’m STILL paying.  who can I talk to. This is ridiculous?  I spoke to someone on a chat about a month again. Who was useless.

My SIM card hasn't arrived

I ordered my SIM card on Wednesday 22nd July. I immediately got confirmation that it had been processed and I was charged my Direct Debit the next day. The SIM has not arrived yet and I am a bit fed up as there is no way to contact a rep to ask about it. My other contract has expired so I can’t currently phone or access 3G and it’s hugely annoying, as I was sure that the ID SIM would come in time.

Roaming in Scotland

When I am in the north west of Scotland my phone switches to roaming. It wasn’t a problem when we were on holiday but we plan to move there. Is there any reason why the signal it was trying to connect to counted as roaming rather than UK? I live in England and my account is UK registered.

Blocked site

When using the idmobile data there is one site that will not load no matter what browser I use but if I switch to Wi-Fi it’s fine which would appear to show that the site (https://kentonline.co.uk) is being blocked by idmobile, I’ve no idea why as it’s a perfectly innocent site.
