My friend lost her phone and has been to the ID mobile shop and got a new phone and SIM card.

problem I am having is that when I try to activate the new SIM card it asks to register her mobile number and the verification process after completing the details sends you a text message to the phone number you put in the details.

My problem is how do you respond to a text message if the sim Card has yet to be activated?
