Received a new phone and followed the instructions to activate new esim. 

I have a 5G connection but no bars

any assistance or guidance appreciated

Have you received confirmation that the activation of the eSIM was successful? 

When you go in to your phone settings, is your eSIM showing there and is your number showing as correct? 

 

If you are unsure on where to check this, please let us know your handset make/model and we will be happy to provide further instructions.
