Changing plan to less data

I have a SIM only deal for £16 per month for 100gb. The original 12 month contract period has now ended and it seems to have rolled through to a monthly plan.

I want to reduce my data bundle and have two questions

1. Does a plan change continue with the SIM I have or do ID have to send a new SIM?

2. I want to continue with monthly and do not want to move back to a 12 month tie in. When I change my bundle, does it remain as a month duration plan?

Hello @KevBod23,

If you change plan, you continue to use the existing SIM - the “How do I change my plan?” article states the changes will take place within 30 minutes of being requested, but be prepared for it to take longer to show-up in the app and your My Account online.

I’m not sure what options you’ll see (in your case) when you ask to change plan, but I think you can change to another 1-month rolling contract - make sure you double-check the duration of the option you choose though.
