Proof of usage for insurance

Hi,

I need proof of usage for insurance purposes, how do I get this? I have the IMEI number for the device.

I need proof of usage for my insurance claim as my phone was stolen.

I also need proof of device ownership, including details of handset and IMEI number etc. As well as proof of blacklisting.

Please can someone let me know how I can obtain these.

@Gurinder kaur,

We can only obtain use for an IMEI if it has been used in the last 30 days.

If the IMEI was used more than 30 days ago we can’t provide any proof or usage information.

@ch33naa you didn’t make complaint and still you r making instalments for stolen phone. I dont know why they are doing like this with us because we need just our correct documents nothing else😒it was my birthday gift even i used just few days😞

Same thing buddy . Do you think I'm lying . I'm 1000000% sure i was using the ID sim and it hasn't been 30 days because i lost it on 11th of December 🙃

@Tom same thing they said to me my phone was stolen on 15/12/203 first they provide me wrong documents now they said they can’t send me documents because I didn’t use my phone last 30 days how this possible??

Hi @ch33naa 

 

I believe in your case your device wasn’t used in the last 30 days on iD Mobile, therefore we wouldn’t check the logs as they weren’t recent enough, sorry.

So, i can provide to my insurance company  Soon. I am doing message on live chat from last three weeks firstly they sent incorrect documents when i did talk about it now they sent me mail that they are unable to send please help me soon. Its very urgent for my insurance company need this soon. My very stressed about it please anyone help me there is no customer service contact number so i can talk with them.

Well i had the same problem and they can't help first they keep saying you will receive in 48 hours and they will stretch your request and in the end they will say it's been so many days you didn't use your sim so we can't help you.  I just wish you won't the same problem. Because my claim had been cancelled because of lack of information.

I talked with you guys three times for the proof of usage and it's been more then 10 days . My insurance company is owned by currys and id mobile is also owned by currys . I don't know which one is more worse

If you have purchased a contract handset we are unable to provide the full value of the handset on the document.

We can however add the monthly cost of the handset and term of the contract.

@id-mob-user did you get any assistance with your request or would you like us to PM you?

I also require this for registering with insurance.

They’ll need it to register the insurance, but if you ever have to claim, they’ll understandably ask you for proof of cost (how much you paid for the device only). Something which I am in the middle of learning ID will not give you. Insurance premiums wasted.
