can not use phone in spain


Hi i can not use my phone in Spain and I have all roaming switched on

Have you checked that your APN settings are correct?

If so, what network are you connecting to?

Yes I've checked all settings and all ok, I'm connected to yoigo

The iD Mobile roaming partners in Spain are: Yoigo and Movistar - according to the iD Community online FAQ “Where can I use inclusive roaming?”.

Did it ever work? You haven’t used your roaming allowance up?

Nope it's never worked 

I had this problem before and I done all the settings twice and still doesn't work

Hi @Luke Childs,

Was roaming enabled on the iD Mobile account and on your phone?

It may be worth testing both the network partners that @WelshPaul advised to check which works.

Nothing has worked and ID are useless in helping so will just have to use hotel wifi

Is it all services or just data impacted here?

If it’s just data then make sure Data Roaming is on.

If it is, then the issue lies with your APN settins being incorrect.

No it's just text messages and phone calls data works ok

That’s odd indeed as It’s the first I’ve heard of this type of issue.

Usually it’s calls only (because of incorrect dialling code 0 instead of +44 not being used).

Or Data (DATA Roaming not enabled or incorrect APNs).

What number are you texting, is it a UK Mobile number or an international one?
